August 2, 2022- The Boerne Independent School District hosted its annual Convocation ceremony to officially welcome back Boerne ISD staff for the new school year.
August 2, 2022- The Boerne Independent School District hosted its annual Convocation ceremony to officially welcome back Boerne ISD staff for the new school year.The event was student-focused, as scores of Boerne and Champion High School students performed both before and during the event. Members of the Greyhound Band and Cheer Teams, as well as Theatre students, showcased their skills in front of a packed Auditorium at Champion High School.
The theme for the school year is "The Future of Texas is in my Classroom". The event was highlighted by a performance based on the 1980's hit movie Back to the Future.
Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price also gave his welcome back speech to the staff, where he thanked the teachers and staff for their continued hard work.
