Seven Boerne ISD Schools Ranked in Top 25 by Niche

nicheSeptember 28, 2022- The Boerne Independent School District placed seven schools in the 2023 Niche Top 25 Best Schools rankings. In addition, BISD was ranked the third-best school District in the San Antonio Area, and the 2nd best traditional or non-charter district. 

 

Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price said, “To once again be ranked among the best school districts in the San Antonio area is a wonderful achievement. Our school and district rankings are a testament to our amazing teachers and staff, who are the best in Texas, as well as our talented students, supportive parents and community members. We are a reflection of our community, and we are the best because our community is the best.”

 

Both Champion and Boerne High Schools were ranked in the Top 25 Best Public High Schools in the San Antonio area, coming in at #6 and #16 respectively. Champion was ranked as the third-best traditional school or non-charter school on the list, while Boerne came in tenth. 

 

Boerne Middle School South and Boerne Middle School North ranked 8th and 15th overall in the Top 25 Best Middle School category and the fifth and 12th-best traditional or non-charter schools. 

 

Three Boerne ISD Elementary Schools made the Top 25, with Fair Oaks Ranch (8th), Cibolo Creek (13th), and Van Raub (18th) in the top 25 overall. Kendall landed just outside the top 25 at number 30 overall. 

 

“We are ranked not only by our results in the classroom but also by our extracurricular success. Our students and staff are extremely talented both in and out of the classroom. Congratulations to our teachers, students, administrators, and staff for earning this distinction,” Dr. Price concluded.

 

According to Niche, the 2023 Best Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.
