January 23, 2023- The Boerne Independent School District has announced the 2023 campus Teacher, Rookie, and Support Staff of the Year winners. The recipients were surprised with the news on their campuses by Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price. Nominations are solicited from each campus, with the nominees being voted on by campus staff. 
As the campus winner, each Teacher ($1,000), Rookie ($500), and Support Staff ($500) of the Year will receive a stipend from Boerne ISD. Campus winners are also placed into the running to be selected to represent the district as 2023 Boerne ISD Teacher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Support Staff of the Year. The District Teacher of the Year will receive a $10,000 check from Toyota of Boerne, as well as a $1,500 stipend from Boerne ISD.
Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price stated, “Each year we honor the excellence of our hard-working staff members when we name the Teacher, Rookie, and Support Staff of the Year winners.
The winners selected by their peers once again epitomize the very best of Boerne ISD. We are extremely proud of each and every one of the campus winners and are happy for their families as well.”

The 2023 District Teacher of the Year will be revealed at the Boerne Education Foundation’s Rock On Fundraiser set to take place on March 4th, while the 2023 Rookie and District Support Staff of the Year will be announced at the March 27th Boerne ISD Board of Trustees meeting.
