Benke Named Champion PrincipalBoerne, TX – The Boerne Independent School District is proud to announce that Natalie Benke has been named the Principal of Champion High School following a unanimous decision at this evening’s board meeting.

“Leading a thriving high school like Champion requires visionary leadership, practical management skills, and an unwavering commitment to students, staff, and the community,” said Superintendent Dr. Kristin Craft. “With more than 25 years of experience in education, Mrs. Benke exemplifies these qualities and brings a wealth of expertise to this important role.”

Mrs. Benke transitioned seamlessly from Academic Dean to Interim Principal in September.  Her servant leadership approach has been instrumental in addressing campus needs while ensuring resources are aligned and the school operates efficiently and effectively.

Mrs. Benke’s tenure at Champion High School has already been marked by impactful accomplishments, including refining the master schedule and fostering meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.

"We are excited for Mrs. Benke to continue her outstanding work as Principal of Champion High School," said School Board President Garrett Wilson. "Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence and student well-being are second to none. She is the right leader to guide Champion High School to new heights."
