Boerne, TX – Boerne ISD unveiled the winning artwork for their 2024 holiday card on Friday, December 13, 2024. The finalists for the contest along with the winner were announced at the 6th Annual Boerne ISD Cookies, Cocoa & Toy Drive.
Amber Ralph, a 5th grade student from Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary, was announced as the winning student artist for the official holiday card. Mykala Jones, a 12th grader at Boerne High School, was the runner up.
The following students were announced as winners at the campus level:
- Harper Krause, 4th Grade at Cibolo Creek Elementary
- Mary McCurley, 5th Grade at Curington Elementary
- Sebastian Cahill, 3rd Grade at Fabra Elementary
- Eleanor Beschoner, 4th Grade at Herff Elementary
- Evan Mendoza, 3rd Grade at Kendall Elementary
- Emma Sun, 1st Grade at Van Raub Elementary
- Eva De La Garza, 4th Grade at Viola Wilson Elementary
- Catena Patillo, 7th Grade at Boerne Middle School North
- Hannah Ramos, 6th Grade at Boerne Middle School South
- Avery Kavanagh, 7th Grade at Voss Middle School
- Isabella May, 10th Grade at Champion High School
More than 50 student art pieces were submitted for the contest. The finalists and winner were voted on by a selection committee.
