BOERNE SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
The BISD Board of Trustees approved Patricia Holub during their Regular Called Board Meeting Monday
Boerne, TX- The Boerne Independent School District School Board approved the district’s candidate for Executive Director of Technology, Patricia Holub, during their Regular Called Board Meeting Monday night.
Holub comes to the district from the San Antonio Independent School District where she served as their Chief Technology Officer. She previously served in multiple roles for SAISD including Executive Director for Technology and Integration and Manager for the Project Management Department. Before her time in public education, Holub worked at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio as a Computer Programmer/Analyst.
Ms. Holub holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University where she double majored in Computer Information Systems and Accounting and a minor in Economics.
She and her husband Martin live in Adkins, Texas and have a son Cole who is in college. Holub believes technology is a tool uniquely suited to making a difference in children’s lives and prepares them for success in the 21st-century workforce. She also believes when technology is thoughtfully integrated into the learning environment, teachers and students benefit from more individualized learning and a wealth of resources not available otherwise.
