Approved Regalia
Graduation 2025 is right around the corner. Boerne ISD celebrates its graduates at commencement ceremonies each year. In addition to the traditional cap and gown regalia, cords, stoles and tassels may also be worn to signify academic achievement, service in a branch of the US military, or participation in school-recognized organizations.
- All graduation cords, stoles, or other approved regalia must be purchased by the organization providing the cord/stole or the student who is approved to wear them.
- All regalia must be approved in order to be worn at graduation.
- Requests for exceptions to the established graduation dress code or approved regalia will be accepted through March 15, 2025. BISD accepts requests for honor cords, tassels, or stoles that represent curricular achievement, extracurricular achievement, or merit in community service through a 501c3 community service organization.
