Boerne ISD Sets All-Time Record for Toy Donations

Toy DriveDecember 3, 2021- The Boerne Independent School District set an all-time record for toy and gift card donations during the Blue Santa Toy Drive. As of Friday afternoon, BISD collected over 1,300 toys with more donations coming in. 

BISD partnered with the  Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Boerne Police Department to collect toys at all 12 campuses and Central Office. 

“We are extremely proud to be able to collect more than 1,300 toys for children in our community,” said Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price. “A huge thank you goes out to our teachers, staff, parents, and community members for their tremendous support. The amount of toys that were donated is just another reason why we live in the best community in the country.”

The generosity of the BISD community will brighten the holiday season for children in the BISD community. Boerne ISD thanks the community for their donations and support. 

“We are pleased to be able to give back to those in need,” Price stated. The Kendall County Blue Santa program helps brighten the holiday season for children right here in the Boerne area. We are grateful to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Boerne Police Department for spearheading this great cause,” Price concluded.
