Early Childhood Literacy and Math Proficiency and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Goals

House Bill 3 Goals

  1. Early Childhood Literacy:  The percent of 3rd grade students that score meets grade level or above on STAAR Reading will increase from 75% to 76% by August 2026.
  2. Early Childhood Math:  The percent of 3rd grade students that score meets grade level or above on STAAR Math will increase from 69% to 70% by August 2026.
  3. CCMR:  The percentage of graduates that meet the criteria for CCMR will increase from 92% to 95% by August 2026.
