About the Boerne Education Foundation

The Boerne Education Foundation is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization formed in 1997 to support every student, teacher, and school in Boerne ISD, thereby creating exceptional schools. Each year, Boerne Schools receive vital monies on a per capita basis for tis students, and many teachers are awarded grants for materials to empower them to give our students an exemplary education. To date, BEF has distributed over $8 million to Boerne ISD Schools.
 

Our Mission

The mission of the Boerne Education Foundation is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teaching, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education in Boerne ISD.

Our Goals

We strive to support Boerne ISD by:

• Providing education resources over and above Boerne ISD’s normal operating budget
• Improving student achievement
• Recognizing and encourage teaching excellence
• Inspiring parents and the business community to support education locally

• Permanent Endowment
