Special Dietary Needs

If your child has been identified as having a disability and has special dietary needs, changes can be made to your child's school breakfast and/or lunch at no extra charge with the proper documentation from a licensed medical professional.

  • The resource below provides some additional information on what is needed for the accommodations as well as a blank copy of our medical documentation form. This form is not mandatory, a note signed by the doctor is sufficient as long as it has all of the details needed to make the accommodations.

Please submit the form to your child’s school nurse as well as our Registered Dietitian Aimee Metzger at Cont.Aimee.Metzger@boerneisd.net . Aimee can be reached at 830-357-2167 if you need more information.
