The Boerne ISD Long-Range Steering Committee held an introductory meeting on August 25, 2021. Roughly 80 community members were invited to participate in this committee focusing on management of the fast growth in our area and updating our long-range plans. What's the difference between long-range steering and bond committees?
The Long-Range Steering Committee researches and presents data to the Boerne ISD Board of Trustees in consideration of future bond elections. After the Board decides to call a bond election, a bond committee would be formed to educate the community on the needs of the district.UPDATE: The Long-Range Steering Committee has reached consensus and will make a formal presentation to the Board of Trustees on January 25, 2022, at the normal Board Meeting.
