Campus Boundary Committee

Campus Boundary Committee

Overview

Boerne Middle School North has been near capacity for the last two years.  The campus has been closed to transfers during this time to help alleviate the enrollment.  Our recent demographics report shows that Voss Middle School has space in the near future to accommodate additional students. A district Campus Boundary Committee (CBC) will be convened to explore options for campus attendance zone boundaries that will optimize our campus enrollments and best utilize our campus capacities.  The CBC is an ad hoc advisory committee, representing various stakeholders of the district community.  As such, the CBC is chartered for a defined purpose and time and holds no statutory authority.

Purpose and Scope
The goal of the CBC is to ensure that parents, staff, and community members have the opportunity to review current campus attendance boundaries and propose new campus attendance boundaries that will accommodate our needs.  Members of the CBC will serve as communicators to and from the community during the boundary review and approval process.  The committee will work to reach consensus on proposals to move forward for consideration by the greater community and ultimately the Board of Trustees.  The CBC concludes its work once the Boerne ISD Board of Trustees has approved campus attendance boundaries for 2027-2028.
