In-District Transfers
Families interested in applying for in-district transfers are encouraged to review the information presented carefully, as application timelines and eligibility vary by in-district transfer type.

The new-to-campus transfer window of closed on April 30.

The transfer renewal window of closed on February 20.
Transfer renewals are processed in accordance with Board Policies FDA (Inter-District) and FDB (Intra-District).

Boerne ISD students have the option of choosing either Boerne High School or Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School when submitting course requests as an incoming ninth grader OR upon initial enrollment with BISD. If your student chooses the high school outside their attendance zone, parent/guardian must submit their choice formally via Skyward Family Access High School Choice tile. Requests for current student were accepted until the close of course selection on March 6
Closed Campuses
The following campuses will remain closed to new transfer applications for the 2026-27 school year and will not be accepting transfer requests for students who reside outside of their attendance zone: Fabra Elementary, Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary, Van Raub Elementary, and Boerne Middle School North. Renewal transfer students currently attending these campuses may still be eligible to apply for renewal, subject to District guidelines.
