Mrs. Lori Flisowski
Mrs. Flisowski holds a Bachelors Degree of Arts in History and Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. She began her teaching career with Boerne ISD eight years ago as a 4th grade ELAR and Texas History teacher and has taught 6th and 7th grade Social Studies at BMSN for the last four years. For the 2019-2020 school year, Mrs.Flisowski will be teaching 6th grade World Cultures, Pre-AP, and On-Level classes. Mrs. Flisowski began her teaching career as a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher at Hempstead Middle School where she also served as the Department Chair. Three years later she returned to her hometown of Bellville, Texas to teach ELAR for seven years at O'Brysnat Intermediate School. Between teaching at Bellville and Boerne, her family was relocated to Baltimore, Maryland for her husband's job. While in Maryland she worked as a long-term substitute teacher in the Frederick County Public School System teaching second and fifth grade. Eight years ago she and her family were given the opportunity to move to the Texas Hill County and couldn't have been more thrilled.
She and her husband, Trevor, have two children Bryson and Aarron. Bryson will be returning to Texas Tech University in the fall as a sophomore studying Construction Engineering, and Aarron will be a sophomore at Boerne High School. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her boys compete in sports, camping, and traveling when they can.
Mrs. Flisowski is thrilled to be a part of the Boerne Independent School District and looks forward to an incredible year.
