I am excited to welcome you back to our incredible district for another stellar school year!
Earlier today, over 1,400 of our employees gathered at Oak Hills Church for Convocation. It was a privilege to be in community with one another and celebrate this year’s theme: Rooted in Tradition, Reaching for the Stars.
From the energy under the Friday night lights to the magic happening in our classrooms, this time of year is so special in Boerne ISD. We are blessed with proud traditions that keep us humble and focused on what matters most. From that strong foundation, we build a community that nurtures young people and helps them achieve their biggest dreams.
You’re an integral part of our story, and we’re so glad you’re here.
Some reminders for the year
We are delighted to share that we are still an “Off and Away for the Day” district! This means that students at every campus must have their cellular devices shut off and stowed in the backpacks for the entirety of the school day. We had great success with this initiative over the past few years, and we fully believe that our student experience is better for it!
Last Spring, Boerne ISD was once again recognized as a UIL Texas Way district for excellence in sportsmanship – on and off the field. We encourage everyone in our district to join us for upcoming UIL events and to celebrate the academic and athletic accomplishments of our amazing students.
