Mrs. Jessica Poe

Mrs. Poe graduated from UTSA with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2010. She began her teaching career at Fort Bend ISD located in Sugar Land, Texas. She spent eight years teaching at FBISD. Mrs. Poe moved to Boerne in 2020 and has been teaching at Cibolo Creek Elementary. 

After completing student teaching in first grade, Mrs. Poe knew this was where she belonged. She enjoys facilitating student growth by creating engaging lessons, promoting student ownership, and providing opportunities for students to dig deeper into what they are learning. Mrs. Poe believes in a strong classroom culture where every student is valued and LOVED. Mistakes can be made because that is what helps us grow.

Mrs. Poe is married and has three children. They enjoy spending time with family, going to the beach, and spending time outdoors. 

Mrs. Poe is proud to call Boerne her home and can’t wait to continue to build relationships with the Cibolo Creek Family.
