BMSN LMC Procedures
Students come to the library for lessons and to check out books accompanied by their classroom teacher or for independent visits at their teachers’ discretion. During school hours, students must have a pass from their teacher for admission. Students are welcome in the library before school beginning at 8:00AM to check out books, work on homework, visit the Cre8 station, read, or work on one of the table activities available. To come in before school, students must reserve a space using the online form. Due to COVID-19, our makerspace and Cre8 areas are currently unavailable.
BMSN students may check out three books at a time and keep the books for three weeks. Student fines are assessed for overdue books ($0.05 per day), or damaged/lost books (cost of replacement).
COVID-19 Circulation Procedures
During the COVID pandemic, returned books will be quarantined following the latest guidelines from ALA and the CDC. Students may not browse the shelves in person, but must select books using the online catalog found here. eLearners must complete the BookHub form to checkout print materials. The LMS will pull materials within three school days for the eLearner to pickup from the front office vestibule. For questions regarding this process, email Mrs. Griffin: email@example.com
