Mrs. Katie Mallette

Mrs. Mallette is the art teacher at Kendall Elementary and is originally from Plano, Texas. She graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin with her Bachelor of Arts. This is Mrs. Mallette's  3rd year at Kendall . She is an experienced and passionate elementary art teacher who excels in classroom management, organization and student motivation. She brings her creative personality and a continuous drive to expand knowledge of classroom accessible art techniques in all media for her students.

Mrs. Mallette loves to create with her students and at home.  She hopes to encourage them to explore and become the amazing artists she knows they can be.

Mrs. Mallette has been married to her husband Herb for 28 years and has 4 children named Emily, Sydney, Joseph and Joshua. Her bassett hound, Hurley, is the cutest dog ever and loves to play with all the squirrels Mrs. Mallette feeds daily.
