Ms. Carissa Basco

Carissa earned her M.Ed in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ in 2019.  Since moving to Texas from California in 2018, she has attained specialty certifications in Art and Special Education.  Carissa is passionate about child growth and development, crediting having her own children as the inspiration to dive deeper into the field.  She has gained experience as an Art Educator teaching grades K-5 in Austin, TX and working with children with Autism, ages 18 months to 7 years old providing ABA therapy.  Carissa considers herself a lifelong learner and is motivated to deliver creativity in her curriculum to cater to the unique pathways of student learning.
