Ms. Lisa Luker

Ms. Luker was born in San Antonio, daughter of a San Antonio Fire Fighter (Dad) and a Special Education Teacher (Mom). She has one daughter, Shelby who is 20 yrs old who she could not be more proud of, planning to attend UNT next fall to study Forensic Psychology.

She graduated from MacArthur High School and attended Colorado Christian University for both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.  Her Bachelor's degree is in Special Education and her Master's is in Mental Clinical Health Counseling.  She has worked in the field of special education for over 18 years.  

Ms. Luker is so excited to be a part of the FORES family.  Helping students, parents and her FORES family of educators is her first priority.  Social/emotional health and academics are her priority and equal in the effects to her students education and growth.  Ms. Luker knows that each of her students is a unique individual with strengths and abilities that are still developing.  Her first priority is to help students feel like they are safe, loved and that they can do what they dream.

Please note: Ms. Luker will check voicemail as often as possible but it will be checked for certain by 2:00 daily, if you need her to receive a message for that day please make sure to do so before 2 pm.  Also, all emails and voicemails will be returned as quickly as possible, no longer than one school day from the time they were sent.
