Mrs. Escobedo

Maria Escobedo was born in a family of teachers in the picturesque city of Tampico, Tamaulipas Mexico. Her parents always embraced the importance of education and a positive growth mindset. Graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas. Willing to continue growing in her career, obtained a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Universidad Regiomontana. Despite the vast years of experience, she has a great amount of fondness and enjoys every aspect of teaching.

Mrs. Escobedo discovered her love for education from a very early age; her older brother was in fact, her very first student. Despite being younger, Mrs. Escobedo tutored him both in Math and Reading for several years.

Starting her second year in Borne ISD she is looking forward to serving many more. The small city of Boerne captivated her. Mrs. Escobedo loves the positive culture in the district and especially at Curington Elementary, grateful and delighted to be working with great families, a wonderful team of teachers and caring administrators.
