Mrs. Taylor Burleson
This is Mrs. Burleson's fifth year teaching and she feels blessed to serve her community at Curington Elementary. She completed her student teaching at CES in the spring of 2019 and fell in love with the students, staff, and heartbeat of the campus. She instantly knew this was her home!
Mrs. Burleson is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. After seven years in the business world and many invaluable life experiences later, she realized that was not her true calling. She took a leap of faith and pursued her true passion of education and completed her alternative certification through Texas Teachers of Tomorrow in the spring of 2019.
She has been married to her caring and loving husband Jacob for almost seven years. Together they have their sweet and sassy daughter Baylee who is five, as well as their smiley and handsome son Brooks who will be three at Christmas time. The Burleson's have called Boerne, TX home since 2015 and enjoy exploring the city together as much as possible.
Mrs. Burleson's passion is capturing the hearts of her students and instilling the same love of learning that she has in each of them. She wholeheartedly believes to do everything with enthusiasm - it's contagious!
