Campus Behavior Coordinator

  • Under the requirements of Senate Bill 107, 84th legislature, TEC 37.0012, each campus must have a staff member designated as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. As a District of Innovation, BISD has opted to designate each administrator as a campus behavior coordinator.

BISD works collaboratively to determine discipline and ensure students are supported emotionally and socially in a restorative discipline approach. You may contact any of the administrators listed on this page by email or phone if you have any questions or concerns.

Hello! My name is Jennifer Howell and I’m thrilled to serve as your child’s school counselor. I’m here to listen with open ears, a warm heart, and hands ready to help.

I was born and raised in Dimmitt, Texas.  I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in School Counseling from West Texas A&M University. This will be my 7th year at Fabra. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Kennen since 1997. We have 3 daughters: Paige, 19; Macy, 17; and Zoe 11.

At Fabra Elementary, we follow the Four Guidance and Counseling Components (Guidance, Individual Planning, Responsive Services, and System Support) and they help make our program very effective. Our guidance program is a developmental program designed to help students acquire skills through planned educational experiences and activities.
