Ms. Marissa Leal

Fabra Falcons, meet your new 4th grade Science and Social Studies Teacher, Ms. Marissa Leal!

Ms. Leal is in her 3rd year teaching and second year teaching 4th grade. She has previously taught 2nd grade and she student taught 5th grade right here at Fabra Elementary. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a teaching certificate in Early Childhood to 6th grade in all content areas. Marissa's long-term goal is to become a Educational Leader in Administration and she is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. However, she loves being in the classroom with the kids and plans to stay there for a while.

Ms. Leal is from Corpus Christi, Texas. She is the new mom of a 1-year-old little boy, Mason. She has always felt a calling to work with kids and enjoys building relationships in order to foster a positive classroom culture where students love to learn. She is excited to be back at Fabra Elementary and ready for an amazing school year!
