Mrs. Maria Cecilia Montero
Mrs. Montero grew up in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where she attended elementary school. Mrs. Montero attended Middle School and Highschool in Edinburg, Texas, where she continued her college education. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Pan American. She received her degree in Elementary Education EC-4 with a Bilingual Certification in 2006.
Mrs. Montero and her family have recently relocated to Boerne, Texas in 2015. She has been married for 31 years, and is a mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter. Mrs. Montero has been teaching in the classroom for 16 years, including 2 as a Teacher Assistant prior to obtaining her Education degree. Her experience includes Teaching Pre-Kinder, 1st grade and 4th grade, all in a Bilingual classroom setting.
Mrs. Montero is the 3rd Grade Dual Language teacher for this 2023-2024 school year. She is very excited and optimistic about meeting each and everyone of her students. Her goal is to reach every student meeting, their social and emotional learning in order to achieve their academic growth.
La Sra. Maria Cecilia Montero es nacida en Reynosa, Tamaulipas México donde estudió primaria. Estudió en la escuela secundaria y preparatoria en Edinburg, Texas. Ingreso a la Universidad Texas Pan American para obtener su licenciatura en Educación Primaria EC-4 con Certificacion en Idioma Bilingüe. Cuenta con 17 años de experiencia.
La Sra. Montero tiene 2 hijos y 1 hija, y tiene 31 años de matrimonio. En 2016 se mudo con su familia a Boerne, donde ha sido maestra de 4o grado Dual en la escuela elemental, Kendall.
Esta feliz de comenzar un nuevo capÍtulo como maestra de 3er grado en el salón de Doble sendero, Dual en esta gran escuela Elemental Fabra. Su meta es hacer conexiones con cada uno de sus estudiantes y verlos lograr su maximo crecimiento academico. Les doy las gracias de ante mano a cada uno de mis padres por su ayuda y apoyo en casa, juntos lograremos el mayor exito.
