Voss Middle School Principal Kathy Cornett has served Boerne ISD since 2007, all at Boerne High School. Mrs. Cornett taught math at Boerne High School from 2007 to 2019, before moving into administration at BHS three years ago, first as an Assistant Principal and currently as the Academic Dean. 

This is Mrs. Cornett’s 19th year in education. She began her career as a math teacher at Judson High School. She then taught math at Arlington High School before moving to Boerne High School in the Fall of 2007. 

As a lifelong learner, she has a Master of Business Administration, 18 graduate hours in Applied Statistics, and her Master’s in Educational Leadership. 

Mrs. Cornett and her husband John have two children, Byron “Connor” (10th grade) and Kylie (8th grade).

Kristen Cantu

Mrs. Kristen Cantu is coming from SWISD & is entering her 22nd year in education- 20 of those years being spent south of the Houston area, near the beach where she grew up. She graduated from UNT with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2001 and immediately began teaching ELAR to middle school students, her favorite! She spent 11 years teaching grades 5-8 and completed her Master's in Education from the University of Houston in 2007. Before transitioning to the AP role, she served in supporting capacities including Academic Achievement Interventionist, Director of Instruction Helping Teacher, and Restorative Behavior Coach in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. The last 7 years have been spent as a high school and middle school assistant principal.

She moved to San Antonio in 2020 with her husband (who is an AP at Boerne High School), 6-year-old daughter, Carolina (who attends Curington Elementary), and two dogs. She is a huge Houston Astros fan and enjoys traveling with her family.

Lisa Reeh

Mrs. Lisa Reeh is entering her 14th year of education. She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University at College Station and earned her graduate degree from Schreiner University. She has taught elementary and middle school, primarily in ELAR and opened Voss Middle School as a 7th grade ELAR teacher before moving into the assistant principal role. Her favorite part of her job is helping students succeed in all facets, from educational, social, or emotional. Mrs. Reeh has been married to her husband, Cody, for over a decade and will soon be welcoming a baby girl in September of 2022. They also have a black lab named Sully and a kitty named Claire. When not at school, Mrs. Reeh loves spending time outdoors. She loves the sunshine and enjoys being around animals at her family ranch. She also enjoys gardening and interior decorating.

Ashton Stewart, R.N.

Nurse Stewart has been a nurse for 8 years.  She has worked in many areas of nursing, but is very excited to be the new school nurse at Voss.  She lives in Boerne with her husband and two children, Kaegan and Kallie.  During her free time, she loves to read, decorate, and spend time with her family. Deputy Jared Moore

Officer Jared Moore is Voss' School Resource Officer as well as working in Kendall County as a Deputy. Officer Moore grew up in Boerne and graduated from Boerne High School. He is passionate about safety and security and looks forward to another great year as an Eagle!
