Mrs. Jenifer Smith

Jenifer Smith has been teaching for 28 years. She started teaching third grade in Colton, CA. During her 10 years with Colton JUSD, she taught K, 2, 3 and trained as a Reading Recovery/Reading Interventionist teacher.

In 2005, Mrs. Smith and her husband, Mike, moved to Boerne with their two sons, Ryan and Connor. They were fortunate to land here, as Boerne is a great place to raise a family. Ryan graduated from Boerne High School in 2015 and is currently an HVAC technician and an E4 in the Texas Army National Guard. Connor also graduated from Boerne High School in 2019 and is currently a senior at UTSA working on a degree in Mechanical Engineering while working part time at the Boerne Stage Airfield. He is planning to commission in the Coast Guard upon graduation.

Mrs. Smith is very excited to begin the next stage of her teaching career at Voss Middle School in the Social Studies Department. She loves reading and history and is excited to impart that passion to her students.
