Mrs. Laurie Sullivan
This is Mrs. Sullivan’s first year in Boerne ISD, but she is starting her eleventh year teaching. She is excited to be the new Life Skills Teacher at Voss Middle School. Mrs. Sullivan was born and raised in Connecticut, but left to join the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman (Doc). She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in Teaching (Elementary) from Sacred Heart University, a certification in Special Education from Arkansas State University, and is also certi. She began her teaching career in Jonesboro, Arkansas and most recently taught at Northside ISD in San Antonio. She's taught every subject as a Special Education teacher with the majority being in English Language Arts/Reading in which she holds an endorsement for.
Mrs. Sullivan resides in Boerne with her husband of 23 years, Timothy, and their two daughters. Lauren is entering her sophomore year at Boerne High School and Olivia is entering eighth grade at Boerne Middle School North. She is also a dog mom to 3 boys. In her free time, Mrs. Sullivan loves to get out and shop, hike, visit the beach, and travel everywhere possible. She is also a huge fan of the New England Patriot’s and Boston Red Sox.
