Mr. Chris Ocak

Mr. Ocak is delighted to start his first year at Voss Middle School! He grew up in Colorado and graduated from Chatfield Senior High School. He then obtained a degree in History from Metro State University in Denver. Mr. Ocak got married and moved to Iowa, where he received his secondary teaching license from Iowa State University. He then taught high school social studies for two years before moving to Boerne.  While in Boerne, he taught computer skills to students at Cibolo Creek Elementary, where his two daughters attend.  After gaining additional experience, an opportunity opened to work in secondary education at Voss, where he taught 6^th and 8^th grade social studies.  When not at school, Mr. Ocak likes to spend time with his family, especially outdoors when the weather is nice, read books and articles, hang out with friends, travel and enjoy sports.
