Mr. Darren Athens
Mr. Athens Has been teaching 16 yrs, He has taught 7th - 8th ELAR and 6th- 8th Science. Teaching is Mr. Athens second career having worked in electronics manufacturing through his 20’s and 30’s. Mr. Athens has an AA in applied electronics and a BSBM. Mr. Athens received his alternative certification and did his student teaching in El Paso ISD, he has spent most of his teaching career in Canutillo ISD at a S.T.E.M. rated middle school. He has also taught science in Comal ISD. Mr. Athens moved to Boerne to be closer to his daughter and 1 year old grandson. He is excited to be a Voss eagle. Mr. Athens has a passion for teaching and all things science.
