Mrs. Amanda Upton

Amanda Upton's educational journey began at Old Dominion University, where she earned her B.A. in Communications. Driven by her love of learning, she pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University. With her Alternative Teaching Certification for English 7-12, Mrs. Upton is committed to fostering a love for learning and growth among her students.

As an educator, Mrs. Upton firmly believes in the profound impact of education on each student's future. She strives to provide her students with not only the knowledge they need to succeed but also the practical tools to apply that knowledge, the safe space to learn from failures, and the confidence to take charge of their lives. In Mrs. Upton's classroom, you can expect a caring, genuine, and passionate teacher who dedicates herself to nurturing each student's potential and empowering them to embrace their unique strengths as they strive for success.

Happily married for 17 years and with three awesome kids, Mrs. Upton is always on the go. When she is not teaching, you will find her traveling the world with her family, seeking adventure, or curling up with a good book.
