Mr. Robert Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez has been performing, directing, and teaching theatre in the San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels area for the past ten years. He taught theatre at a private school for six years and was the children's minister at his church for over 15 years. He worked in the entertainment department at SeaWorld for just shy of 20 years where he did theatrical lighting for the shows and major events, such as Halloween and Christmas, performed in the Sea Lion show, and recorded a number of voice overs for the park, rides, shows, and water park. This is his third year at Voss Middle School! 

Theatre Classes Breakdown: 

Theatre 1 - is focused on performance, building the foundations of acting and theatre as a whole. 
Theatre 2 - is focused on technical theatre, building the foundations of tech, design, directing, and advanced performance.
Theatre 3 - is focused on students applying the principals learned in the previous courses and representing VMS in UIL and other One Act competitions. 

Theatre Class Requirements: 

     Closed-toed Shoes at all times (every class, every day)
     School-Issued Planner (All Classes)
     Sketch Notebook (All Classes)
     3-ring Binder (Theatre 2 & 3 only)
