Ms. Mendy Loaiza

Ms. Loaiza started in the PPCD room at Van Raub. This will be her third year in the Computer Lab, and 5th year at Van Raub.

She is passionate about inspiring students through innovative learning methods; in particular, she looks for opportunities to integrate out of the box educational experiences with real world applications and processes.  Ms. Loaiza values the power of building rapport with her students through meaningful connections and a genuine intrigue in their interests, and she strives to motivate each child to reach for the stars. By also incorporating moments of laughter, music, dance, and being silly, she aims to provide a well-rounded learning experience.

Ms. Loaiza earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus in Early Childhood. When she is not at Van Raub, she is most likely spending time outdoors with her family. She is the proud mama of Giuliana & Gavin.
