Alexandra Contreras

Ali Contreras graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education with an ESL certification from Texas State University in May of 2020.

She has lived in Boerne, TX since the 5th grade, attending local schools such as Cibolo Creek Elementary, BMSS, and Champion High School. Ms. Contreras has always admired the high standard of academic growth, close knit community, and the many other elements that makes Boerne ISD one of the best small school districts in Texas! She is blessed to work alongside individuals who hold that same ambition to change the hearts and minds of young learners. As a teacher, Ms. Contreras wishes to provide her students with a learning experience that is invaluable, self-reflective, memorable, and built on a foundation that inspires them to become advocates of their own learning. She hopes to give all students the opportunity to obtain a perspective of learning that is always safe, creative, limitless, and encouraging. 

 

About her:

Ms. Contreras comes from a family of six, being the only girl with three brothers. During her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, writing, or dancing. Her favorite music genre is classic rock and you will never see her without a cup of coffee in her hand! Ms. Contreras couldn't be more thrilled to begin her third year teaching at Van Raub Elementary.
