October 5, 2020- The Boerne Independent School District has announced that Cibolo Creek Elementary School won the grand prize in the Aftermath Education Pay it Forward Grant Contest. Cibolo Creek earned the top prize of $2,000 in the nationwide contest after the Boerne Education Foundation submitted a video that showcased the school's E-Learning Teachers and how they are being innovative this school year.
Cibolo Creek beat out the second and third-place winners, Quest Academy (Las Vegas, NV), and Topsail Middle School (Hampstead, NC), respectively. Cibolo Creek will use the grant money to purchase items that will enhance E-Learning for their students.
