The Child Nutrition Department is a part of the education team, providing students with nutritious meals that promote health and a positive learning atmosphere. Boerne ISD participates in the National School Lunch (NSLP) and School Breakfast Programs. The United States Department of Agriculture administers these programs and has established guidelines that must be followed by the District.
Boerne ISD follows Texas Public School nutrition policy guidelines available at SquareMeals.com. We look forward to serving your students!

We are excited about the positive start of the school year. However, Child Nutrition is facing many challenges this School year with Staffing, Product availability thru our Vendors and Manufacturer of Child Nutrition approved food items, and paper products.
Most school districts are now open and making the demands for food and paper products for school districts harder to come by. We are working diligently to hire staff and communicate with our Vendors to get the food items we need for our menus as well.
With that said, we have been making menu changes and using the products we have available. At some campuses, we must close some serving lines, due to staffing shortages at our Campuses. We have minimized menu options due to food shortages as well.
We apologize to our Students and Parents for the inconvenience of these factors that have made this school year, one of the most difficult one since we began to try to get back to normalcy.
Again, we apologize in advance and working hard to get our cafeterias staffed and product on our shelves. Please be patient as we rectify these issues that surround our Child Nutrition Program. We will be updating information on our Nutrislice app and CN website as it becomes available.
Any questions or concerns, please notify our Child Nutrition office at 830-357-2061
***ONLINE ORDERING IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE***
BISD is now following the SSO program, where all students' meals are free this school year. Due to this change, our mobile ordering will need to be reconfigured to accommodate this new program. Online ordering will resume in the future! And we will be sure to keep you updated on when we will roll it out!
