Marguerite Surley has been working at Boerne Middle School South since the 2015-2016 school year. Mrs. Surley teaches eighth grade on level math and the 8th grade Math Lab class. Marguerite Surley also serves at the mathematics department chair. Mrs. Surley has been an educator for 10 years and previous to BISD worked in San Antonio at NEISD. While she worked for NEISD she recieved the Campus Teacher of the Year award for the 2014-2015 school year. Mrs. Surley holds her mathematics certification in grades 4-12. 

Mrs. Surley graduated from Texas State University in 2009 with her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in Mathematics grades 4-8. After teaching for several years she continued her education recieving her Masters in Mathematics Curriculum Instruction. During her free time she loves to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather at the lake or nearby hiking trails. She loves to travel and most importantly spending time with her family.
