Mrs. Denali Van Kampen - Lewis

Mrs. Van Kampen-Lewis or Mrs. Lewis as her students call her has been teaching in Texas for 9 years. She has taught athletics, math, world cultures, ELAR and Science for Buckholts ISD, Austin ISD, Dripping Springs ISD and will be teaching 7th grade science for Boerne Middle School South. She has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Education. Mrs. Lewis is driven by the desire to show students how to love learning and discovering the world around them. She also takes pride in providng a safe and caring enviroment for her students to thrive in.  Mrs. Lewis believes that when the whole child feels safe and comfortable, they will grow into explorers and lovers of all things. 

Mrs. Lewis is orginally from Alaska and came to Texas after spending 9 years in Hawaii for college. She is married with 2 boys who are Kendall Knights. She has a commitment to family and community. She loves exploring and spending time with her family and the BISD community.
