Melody Meyer

Mrs. Melody Meyer is thrilled to begin her 10^th year in the classroom as an art teacher at Boerne Middle School South. Since graduating from Texas State University in 2008, she has taught a variety of subjects and grades, including 5 years in middle school art. Her goal as an art teacher is to inspire students through art to express themselves through a variety of media as they learn about influential artists and cultural expressions of art. She enjoys helping students find connections between art and other subjects.

Mrs. Meyer is excited to be joining the Charger family to help each student find their voice through artistic expression. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 6-year-old son, traveling, photography, and creating ceramics.

Education: Mrs. Meyer obtained her bachelor's degree of science at Texas State University in 2008. Her certifications include EC-4 Generalist, Theater K-12, and Art K-12.
