Thursday, May 30, 2019, Boerne High School graduate Dylan Hollimon was surprised at his graduation ceremony by several members from the San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD). These San Antonio firefighters were in attendance to honor Dylan’s father and fellow firefighter, Trevor Hollimon, who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year.
Trevor Hollimon served with the San Antonio Fire Department for the last 20 years as a firefighter, paramedic, hazmat technician, and technical rescue specialist. Before his time as a firefighter, Trevor served in the Air Force in Tactical Air Control Party (TACP). 
Firefighters from not only the San Antonio Fire Department, but also several fire departments from around the state have stepped up throughout this year to be a supporting presence for Dylan at several important events.
Members from the SAFD say that they plan to continue to show up to cheer on Dylan Hollimon now and in the future for the many accomplishments and celebrations to come.
