Boerne ISD's Executive Director of Operations has been chosen as the next President of Boerne's Rotary Club.
Mark Stahl will be inducted as president of the club Saturday, June 22nd.
Rotary is a service-based organization with the motto, 'Service Above Self'.
The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Stahl has been a member of the Rotary Club of Boerne for two years and said he is extremely honored to have been selected to lead the club.
"I am most passionate about the service that the club and the organization provide to our local community, surrounding areas, and the world," said Stahl.
"For instance, Rotary has been a persistent force in eliminating polio worldwide," he said.
