April 21, 2020- In an effort to help alleviate elementary school overcrowding, the Boerne ISD Board of Trustees gave final approval to new elementary school attendance zones at their regular monthly meeting on Monday night.
The board approved Proposal A, which was amended to give Planning Units 60 (Spring Creek Estates and Friendly Hills subdivisions) and 78 (Stone Creek Ranch, The Homestead, Ammann Farms, and Boerne Ranch Estates subdivisions) the option to stay at their current schools. Proposal A was recommended by the attendance zone committee.
The new elementary school attendance zones will go into effect at the start of the 2020-21 school year.
