May 1, 2020- Lucia Rey, a 7th grader at Captain Mark T. Voss Middle School, won second place in her video submission 
for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of San Antonio's National Superhero Day video contest. National Super Hero Day was April 28th, and to commemorate the day, the organization asked students to bring their inner hero to life by submitting a video, drawing or picture. Rey’s video submission earned her the second place prize. You can view her video here.
