Champion Teacher Named Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year
July 15th, 2021- Boerne-Champion High School U.S Government Teacher Kim Grosenbacher has been named the 2020-21 Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) Secondary Teacher of the Year. The announcement was made Thursday at the ATPE virtual conference.
Grosenbacher began teaching at Boerne High School prior to moving to Champion in 2008. She currently teaches Dual Credit US Government, AP US Government, and US Government.
In 2015, Grosenbacher was selected as the James Madison Fellow award winner for the state of Texas. She has won numerous teaching awards and was previously named the social studies teacher of the year by the Legal Digest.
