March 29, 2023- The Boerne Independent School District hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday officially signaling the start of construction on the addition at Boerne High School.
BISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price, Board President Rich Sena, and Satterfield and Pontikes Vice President Calen Shearer, spoke at the event.
The Boerne/Champion JROTC Students served as the color guard, while the Boerne Choir sang the national anthem to open the ceremony.
Dr. Price and the Board of Trustees shoveled the first pieces of dirt to officially open construction of the school.
The Boerne High School addition will open in August 2024.
