Boerne ISD Schools Ranked High by Niche

NicheSeptember 27, 2023- The Boerne Independent School District shined in the 2024 Niche Best Schools rankings. Overall, BISD was ranked the second-best traditional or non-charter public school district in the San Antonio area, while Voss Middle School and Herff Elementary School were ranked first in their respective categories.

 

Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price said, “To once again be ranked among the best public school districts, not just in the San Antonio area, but in Texas, is a wonderful achievement. Our school and district rankings are a testament to our amazing teachers and staff, who are the best in Texas, as well as our talented students, supportive parents, and community members. We are a reflection of our community, and we are the best because our community is the best.”

 

Voss Middle School was the top-ranked traditional school or non-charter public middle school in the San Antonio area, while Boerne Middle School North and Boerne Middle School South were in the top 10.

 

Five Boerne ISD Elementary Schools made the Top 25, with Herff and Van Raub being ranked the first and third best traditional school or non-charter public elementary school. Fair Oaks Ranch, Kendall, and Cibolo Creek were also ranked in the top 25.

 

Both Champion and Boerne High Schools were ranked as two of the Top 25 Best Public High Schools in the San Antonio area. Champion was ranked as the fourth-best traditional school or non-charter public school on the list, while Boerne made the top 15.

 

According to Niche, the 2024 Best Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.
