Mr. Jason Cook

Jason Cook is starting his 7th year at Boerne Middle School South, but it will be the start of his 16th year of teaching.  Mr. Cook taught for 9 years in Norman, Oklahoma before making the amazing choice to bring his abilities and experience to BMSS.  He likes to use technology whenever he can and even holds certifications as a Google Certified Teacher and Apple Educator. Mr. Cook received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma.  Literature and writing are his passions inside and outside the classroom, so he could not have been more thrilled to teach ELAR at BMSS. He was very honored to be chosen for Spotlight Teacher of the Month in his very first year at South.  Moving his family to Boerne and bringing his children to Boerne ISD is one of the best decisions he has ever made, and he is in awe that he gets to teach at BMSS.
