Golden Door Scholar - Application Deadline (September 30, 2019)
The Golden Door Scholarship is for DACA recipients attending college in Fall 2020. The scholarship will go to 50 students intereted in pursing a bachelor's degree. In addition to funding, Golden Door provides 1:1 mentorship, professional development opportunities, and summer internships.
WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY - Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars Day - Application Deadline (November 1, 2019)
The Wichita State University College of Applied Studies announces the Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars Day for high school seniors who declare a major in math or science teacher education at Wichita State University. Winners of the scholarship will be offered a financial aid package that may include various scholarships. The Klose Scholarship, up to $20,000, covers the average cost of tuition books and fees during their junior and senior year.
Herrman & Herrman Innovation Scholarship - Application Deadline (December 1, 2019)
Herrman & Herrman encourages creativity and innovation. In our 2019 scholarship program, we want to recognize six innovative students and two teachers who foster creativity in students. To enter the scholarship contest, students should submit a creative entry on the following topic: What safety measures can schools implement, nationwide, to reduce the number of shootings that occur within schools? The contest is open to high school juniors and seniors, and students currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year undergraduate program at a college, university or technical school in the United States only. We believe that getting an education is the best hope for young people to attain a rewarding career in the 21st century. We also know that inspiring teachers can change lives. We are proud to offer scholarship prizes to help further students’ education and recognize deserving teachers.
TEXAS A&M - The Brockman Scholarship - Application Deadline (December 1, 2019)
The Brockman Scholarship is a merit-based full-ride scholarship to Texas A&M Univeristy College Station, that covers 5 years of study, tuition fees in full, room and board, transportation, books and supplies, and an overseas study opportunity.
College Board - Opportunity Scholarships - Application Deadline (Various from 10/31/19 to 02/29/20)
Starting with the Class of 2020, juniors can qualify for College Board Opportunity Scholarships. All students need to do is complete specific steps as they plan for college. The College Board Opportunity Scholarships' six steps can help you plan, prepare, and pay for college. Completing each step qualifies you for a scholarship ranging from $500 to $2,000, and completing all six qualifies you for a $40,000 scholarship.
