Mr. Darik Forrest

Darik has been in education since 2015 when he graduated from UTSA with a degree in History. He received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UTSA in 2020. He has taught World Geography,  Economics, AP Economics, World History and AP World History. This year he will be teaching World History  and World History AP. His 24-year career in the Army exposed him to a variety of people and cultures that has expanded his world view. Darik enjoys helping students realize that examining history can help them see how the past influences their lives today. 

In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping, traveling with his wife, and spending time with their two dogs, Berkeley and Rose. They have two children, Amanda and Thomas, who live in San Antonio.
